Surfing Responsibly & Staying Safe in Peru
Your safety is our priority, and we follow Peru’s strict coastal protection laws to ensure every surfer enjoys Chicama responsibly. The wave at Chicama is part of a protected marine reserve, and it is absolutely forbidden to surf or enter the water at night. This regulation preserves the environment, protects marine life, and ensures safe conditions for all surfers. During the trip, our team will guide you through local surf etiquette, safe entry and exit points, and best practices for respecting both the ocean and the community. Surf smart, stay aware, and help us protect one of Peru’s most iconic waves for future generations.
